Here's the weekly snapshot of our Houston area real estate market.
Thankfully there were more listings again this past week and more coming soon properties. And as usual, a little over 23% of new listings went under contract in less than 5 days.
The trend toward more inventory is taking shape. Typical of this time of year. Look to see sharp increases in new listings in Feb and March.
Also, mortgage rates crept slightly higher last week but 30yr fixed is still below 3% for good credit borrowers. This level continues to help both sellers and buyers.
